Hello and greetings to everyone both inside and outside the walls of prison. There are over two million people locked up in this country, with Texas in a close race for the lead in locked up Texans. My partner Eddie and myself highly enjoy helping folks who are trying to help themselves in changing their lives for the better, and the key to that change is faith in a higher power. So with that said, I want to thank everyone who has helped us both get Cornerstone where it is today and the direction it is going. We could not have done this without the support of family, friends, and loved ones…and of course our faith!  Thanks again. We both look forward to helping everyone we can!

If getting your loved one home a dream come true, then you absolutely need to call Eddie and David for their expertise and the compassion they have working with families. They stayed with us all the way and provided tremendous amount of support when we had our doubts. We were about to spend a few thousand of dollars that our family didn’t have for attorneys, until these great guys came in our lives. Isabel Hernandez  recommends Cornerstone Parole Services.  Eddie has been here to help us every step of the way. With such short notice he helped us so much with my fiance’s parole packet. He was always available to us and anytime a call came from the prison he took it. I highly recommend Cornerstone Parole Services. We knew it wasn’t guaranteed, as it isn’t always guaranteed, however he was approved parole and will be home by the new year.

It’s been a long road for Stephanie Stubblefields. She went from 360 months to 135 months! David took it through the Federal Court system and won in the 5th Circuit. Congratulations on a job well done Stephanie!

I want to congratulate Veronica Wortman, she got an FI-2 from parole and she will be home with her family in April. Eddie did a great job on the Parole Packet and David on the phone interview!

Richard, “Eddie”, Edwards is 65 years old and has spent 34 years of his life incarcerated, 30 in California and 4 in Texas. In California, Eddie did legal assistance inside, helping other convicts who did not understand the law. According to Eddie, “My claim to fame is that I took a case up to the 9th Circuit US Court of Appeals and won!”. Here in Texas, he specializes in parole packets. While incarcerated in Texas, Eddie met a “homeboy” from California who was doing legal work for offenders and filing lawsuits against the Texas Department of Criminal Justice based on the inhumane lack of air conditioning issue and sanitation procedures, and they joined forces. This was David Cummings. Getting to know each other, they realized they both had a passion to help people as well as to address injustices committed by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Eddie’s desire is to help people who do not have the major resources to hire an expensive attorney.

David “Tow Truck” Cummings is 54 years old and has spent over 20 years of his life incarcerated. He has studied at Butner Junior College, Duke, and Lee College and has Associates Degrees in Business and Environmental Science, and a Bachelors Degree in Civil and Criminal Law. From his education and life experience, David has an understanding of law and incarceration on both state and federal levels. He is not afraid to stand up for what is right and was involved in two high profile cases against the TDCJ over air conditioning and
